Hi Sir,

Can anyone suggest to my query,

when can we able to claim the customs duty paid amount, what is the process to follow

Refund will b given only for "Special additional duty" paid.

The duty paid on item must b less than or equal to vat collected on sale of such item

Submission of copy of sale receip ( VAT shown separately ), statement showing name of item , date of purchase , date of sale , Interstate sale or Local Sale

Details of Payments of duty i.e date and amount.

Hi Abhishek,

Thanks for your reply, need some clarification on this

1. why we can't claim the Custom duty paid

2. how we can claim the Special additional duty, is there required any registration or what forms we need to submit and which department

3. and VAT is state tax, Customs is central tax how can we claim

please suggest

Refund ill b given by customes only after going through all the documents which has been approved and certified by a CA, so if ur trying on ur own for refund i dont think u ill b getting it whit out a CA cerificate.
