1. Opening a current is not a mistake.

2. Current account doesn't carry any interest for your balance.

3. If you don't have any necessary of same amount transfer to fd . 

4. Keep minimum balance of amount which is differ from bank to bank.

As u know current account is for the business people.

When u have liquid cash of Rs.90,000/- why do u want to deposit in a current account, instead u can very well deposit in a savings account or As stated by Mr.Tejas transfer to a short term period Fixed Deposit account depending upon the requirement of funds.
