CS PROFESSIONAL EXAM REVALUATION

I appeared for CS Professional Exam Module I. I had already gotten exemption for Drafting Appearances and Pleadings, so I appeared for Company Secretarial Practise. Now I cleared the paper with 47 marks. But was declared fail. So by how much marks will I have been declared passed in Paper 1. Now will I have to give module 1 again despite the previous exemption. Will the fact that I got exemption before be considered. Also I am giving as per old syllabus. From which session will the new syllabus be applicable?

Hey shwetha, u have to get minimum 50 in csp to clear that module... And that exemption will not lapse in 3 attempt. Its for life time.. Nd last old cs final exam held on upto june 2015..
The exemption u got in drafting by getting 60 is considered worth of 50 only.. And another 50 marks u have to get in csp to clear that module.. Its really hard to know, but wat to do it is icsi ka exemption rules... My personal advice better dont claim exemption, write 2 papers.. Good chances to clear that module... All the best

Good. I am planning to send for revaluation.

Yes you need to score 50 in CSP. Exemption secured by scoring 60 marks holds good in perpetuity. Since you are required to clear only one paper, it is better to focus on this one paper whole heartedly and clear it rather withdrawing the exemption.
