Cs expected salary

Hello Member,

I have just clear the CS professional examination all group.

I am currently working as a Sr A/c Officer in MNC (Pvt Ltd.) having approx 9-10 year of experiance in indirect tax, direct tax & other a/c exposure. Pkg 6.75 L PA.

If my current company is willing to offer me the position of CS then,

1) What amount of package i should ask to Co. or expect from Co?

2) Suppose Co. dont increase my package & ask me to work in current salary then it is worth to work for getting experience?

Kindly Advise on the same.

As you have worked hard for passing CS exams and the company will be giving extra responsibility as a Company Secretary you should ask for at least 15-20% hike in your current package as Sr Accounts Officer but even if company is not willing to give you the same or less hike than it will not be a bad option as per me to get some useful experience as a CS specially in initial period of your career as a CS.
