Cost of gst registration for new traders

Existing VAT registered dealers can migrate into GST and get the provisional ID ; for which the window will reopen from June 1 to June 15 and it's completely online however on the cost part it's purely on the person who is doing

Hello Sunil JI, You only mentioned about Existing Vat Dealers in your reply but did not answer question about persons who were exempted from VAT till now but will be covered in GST.

Also, regarding cost, you mentioned it depend upon person. Does it mean , Govt does not charge anything officially and all the money is for fees of professionals ? Please kindly also tell procedure if it is finalized.

person earlier exempted but now taxable will be required to takes afresh registration in gst thru gst portal. no theres no fees for  getting online gst registration by govt

Gekco ji Yes. ..persons who were exempted but taxable now need to get registered under GST , for now the window has not opened It would start from June 1 kindly be updated from the GST Network portal every detail is available there on the registration process
and there is no requirement of fees payable to government for the register it's free of cost.
