How can we enter the opening balance manually in Cost Centres in Tally Prime, except by passing a journal entry?
I understand that this was not possible in Tally ERP 9.

You can see cost centre expenses and break up between departments. Its either debit or credit (expenses or gain) and closing balance. It shows for the current year. This feature is not available in Tally yet. Here's a wonderful article with example
