hai sir this is phani kumar i am working accountant in firm . it had lot of divisions and it gave chques in th name of individuuals . so please tell me how to post that ledger in tally & another doubt is how to delete cost centers in tally

Open the Ledgers in individuals name.
Group them under S.Drs/S.Crs depending upon the transactions occured.
To delete a cost centre first of all no entry should exist in that cost centre. So, edit the cost centre already mentioned and make the cost centre which tobe deleted as empty. Then delete it.
In order to tally this you P&L Balance should always tally/equal with cost centre summary.
