Consignment Material

Hi 

Hi i am struggling to keep a track of consignment material.  We give material on consignment but only the partial material is received back and do not know how to keep track on remaining material in Tally. 

Please help me on this

I understand your concern. Tracking consignment material can be challenging. In Tally, you can use the "Consignment" feature to manage this. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you: 1. Enable Consignment in Tally: - Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Accounting Features > Inventory Features > Consignment 2. Create a Consignment Inward Voucher: - Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Vouchers > Consignment Inward - Enter the material issued on consignment, quantity, and rate 3. Create a Consignment Outward Voucher: - Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Vouchers > Consignment Outward - Enter the material received back, quantity, and rate 4. Track Consignment Material: - Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Info > Consignment > Pending Consignment - This report will show the material issued on consignment, received back, and the balance quantity pending Additionally, you can use Tally's "Tracking Number" feature to assign a unique number to each consignment, making it easier to identify and track the material.
