Confusion about conversion PE-II To PCC

i have converted from PE-2 to PCC.

if we are through graduation we need not commence with articleship..first we have to attempt november 2008  exams in PCC.

after clearing that our articleship will commence.

hav u completed ur CCT?

if yes then no tension.

if no then u have to atleast register for the same.

i am in the same situation as you are ,i gave a call at the icai mumbai office ,they say that pe2 students will be given 2 more attempts of pe2 and some announcement is expected to come regarding this ,i think we can wait for a week ,or else call at the mumbai icai ,ph no ,is 022 39893989.they will answer your queries

it is confirm that pe-2 attempts extended to may -09 can call icai mumbai,ph no. 022-39893989

C.A.(pe2) last attempt is may 2008.  it is not extended, even those who given pe2 exam and not cleared they automatically converted into pcc as mentioned by C.A. institute.

we have called mumbai, nodia its true ICAI is giving two more attempts to people who have registered through Graguation (B.com etcs) steem 
 Not to others ( from P.E 1, foundation )

and can u please tell me if we conver to PCC should we also register articalship ? i am from graduation streem

it is given in institutes website & also confirmed by me by giving a call to icai mumbai that articleship of graduation basis students will only start after passing pe-2 or pcc ,and that will be for 3 years

one more thing mr sree ,i am not  sure should i remain in pe-2 or convert to pcc as choice is given to us what could be the pros & cons of pe-2 & pcc ,will pcc be more easier than pe-2 i think it's time to make a wise decision so expect some suggestion from wise persons ,please do reply
