Confused PLzzzz Help Urgent..??????

I am from Surat (GJ) and i want to do my articleship in Mumbai but i hav no refrence.and also i hav cleared 1grp of IPCC so to cmplt the 2nd Grp in May 11 i will b needin leave..so i hav two option..

1. to join articleship here in surat and den after my exams take a tranfer 

2 or dirclt join any firm in mumbai..(here da problm i dat will i b given da leave..???
