please let me know the accouting head for computer softwares,
i m having a bill of rs 34 lakhs which is for license of ms office 2013, windows 8 , windows server etc.
mine question is shud we capitalised or treat as a revenue exp.

It would be intangible asset, I think, it should be capitalized.
it is approprate to ammortise through its life span meaning it can be semi capital expenditure
