is it secretarial audit u r referring to..???..if so let me know..i have some checklist for the same.
Some of the points are:
1. Appointment of auditors
2. Director Appointment and DIN
3. Annual Return
4. Board Meeting Resolutions
5. CARO
6. Depreciation method and rates
7. Financial Statements as per Schedule
As regards checking I suggest you to refer auditing books. AAS issued by ICAI
