Pls confirm me that it is not effective now and will come into effect after publication in official Gazette.

It means we need to follow the old provisions of Act for the time being.

Sub: Clarification regarding effective date of Companies (Particulars of Employees) Amendment Rules, 2011

The Ministry had notified Companies (Particulars of Employees) Amendment Rules, 2011 vide GSR 289 (E) dated 3 1.03.20 1 1 raising the limit of employee’s salary to be disclosed in Directors Report.

In this regard, it is clarified that the said notification shall be applicable to all Director’s Reports under section 217 of the Companies Act, 1956 approved by the Board of Directors on or after 1.4.2011, irrespective of the accounting year of the annual account, being approved by the Board.

dear shri ankur, the said info was very much useful in preparing my annual reports. but it has been mentioned in the amendment that (a) for the words 'particulars of employees of companies, the words " particulars of government companies and companies" shall be substituted. it is obvious that it was only "companies" earlier and now 'govt companies' has been included. but can u share the first provisio as such, just for a documentary evidence, before amendment? sharing herewith the gazette notification dated 31 March 2011 for ref.
