The syllabus of CA final ISCA and IDT has changed. I want to know how much change it is in % terms i.e. how much extra study is required as compared to old one.
Also whether new companies act will be applicable for Nov. 14, if yes how much change it is from study point of view?

The Changes are as follows
ISCA: 100% Changed
Indirect Tax: Changes & Present Format
Section A: Central Excise (25 marks) (40 Marks Present)
Section B: Service Tax (50 marks) (40 Marks Present for ST with VAT)
Section C: Customs and Foreign Trade Policy (25 marks) (20 Marks Present, No Foreign Trade Policy )
IDT Syllabus for November has not changed, except for the addition of a small topic called "Foreign Trade Policy". However, there has been a change in the marks weightage of various topics, as explained by Vijeth above.
I would appreciate if someone can tell me if any new content has been added to ISCA for November.
