Changes in income tax

Hi

will there be any changes in income tax for the june 2013 exam or will it be same as dec 2012.I am asking this because i heard that amendments before 6 months will be applicable for next exam. so if the new assessment year is applicable the duration will be less than 6 months and the new amendments will come on april so that we have got less time to study?
