will there be any changes in income tax for the june 2013 exam or will it be same as dec 2012.I am asking this because i heard that amendments before 6 months will be applicable for next exam. so if the new assessment year is applicable the duration will be less than 6 months and the new amendments will come on april so that we have got less time to study?

That is correct, You will have to study Finance Act 2012 i.e. A.Y 2013-14 applicable for June and December 2013 Examinations.
