For amendment in GST registration details like change in name of business, change in principal place of business (only change of address within the state is possible), addition/deletion of partner/director etc, Form GST REG-14 needs to be filed within 15 days from the change along with necessary documents evidencing the change..

If the concerned GST authority is satisfied, he shall approve the change within 14 days from submission and issue the amendment certificate (GST REG-15).

If he still has any issues like incomplete documents etc., he may ask for the clarification (in Form GST REG-03) and applicant will need to respond within 7 days in Form GST REG-04.
