When a proprietor of firm (manufacturing unit) decided to change the constitution of the firm from propriatary to partnership concern by allowing some other as partners for business development purpose, whether there is any need that the firm has to change its factory licence, VAT and other licenses / permissions.

The partnership deed is duly executed, stamped & registered with registrar of firm & there is no change in name of the firm.

Please advise.

You would have to inform all the concerned depts of change in constitution of your firm. There are various forms which vary from dept to dept which you would have to submit.
