Hi
No. Slab remained same. However 2.2 lac exemption you are referring is already existing.
It's only applicable to those whose taxable income doesn't exceed Rs. 5 lac.
For them after 2 lac deduction they will be entitled for rebate up to Rs 2000 u./s 87a.
