Change in residential status
If Assessee was NRI and filled earlier return as Resident now if she wants to get it filled right with NRI status and mention passport number is there would be any issue relating to previous year filled return as Resident?

Unless there be any query or notice from CPC, you cannot change the status in filed ITRs.
Don't want to change status of earlier filled but issue is- if she would file now onwards return with NRI status whether there would be any difficulty as had filled earlier returns with resident status instead of NRI, I mean department ever track old journey also from passport number??
From now onwards, you file ITR under correct status. ITD may open old ITR/s based on any discrepancy found based on their own data, not based on change in status from now on.
