Change email address in company master data

MCA 41121 views 12 replies

How to change the email address of a company? If I 'pre-fill' any form that I submit, I get the old email address which also shows up in Company Master Data. I want to change this address to a new one.

Can I just over-write(i.e. edit after prefilling) the email address in any Form that I submit next for the Company and this will do? Or is there a proper way of doing this?

Quick Summary
Company email in master data can be updated by overwriting it in e forms filed with ROC. Filing forms like annual return may auto update the email. Direct correction via ROC is also possible if needed.

You can just over-write your e-mail id in any form after pre-fill, this'll do... no other procedure to change ID of the Company...

Well, U can either apply manually to the ROC for correction of Company Master Data or e-file the annual return with correct e-mail address. However, you don't need to take hassle for master data updation just for e-mail id, when you file e-form 20B, the same will get updated automatically.

Not only the annual filing but filing of any documents like Form 32, Form 8 or what ever, just over writing the new email id will suffice and the email id will be chaned

Dear Sir/Madam,

Recently one of my relative has applied for incorporation of his pvt ltd company. Everything was settled and he finally recieved the certificate. But when he recieved the filled in form 32 from his CA, the found that the CA has filled his own email id in the field of all 4 directors. Is it a normal practice or mandatory, because the CA has to address to the communication with ROC.

And the documents he recieved, was not physically signed by anyone. The certificate was digitally signed. But the MOA & AOA was neither signed not stamped by anyone. The CA replies that these days ROC provided all documents in softcopy and hence doesnt need any physical stamping.

Please advise.

1) Yes CAs usually enter their own email address since clients do not know what to do aof any such email. Don't worry.

2) Yes these days it is digitally signed. You do not get a manually signed Cert of Incorporation.

sir,

as per erlier discussion we want to chang recently incorporated companies  e-mail id from company master data. I also filled ADT-1 form for F.Y. 15-16 in that form we replace new e-mail address. But after approval status of ADT-1 , there is no change in e-mail address master data. we want to change that e-mail id urgently. please suggest

I helped in the incorporation of a Pvt. Ltd. company of one of my relative.I gave my email id to be filled in the incorporation related forms and hence the same is being reflected in the master data of the company. It has been 3 years since the incorporation of the company  and despite of the various reminders, that relative is not changing my email id at the portal. Is there any option through which i can ask mca to remove the same?

Contact the administrator at the company that operates the email service and provide them with  proof that you have legal ownership of the domain name and request the change.  Use Federal Express, have the document notarized, provide identification, as an email request will probably be ignored.
