We are importer of electrical steel, we use this as our raw material and also we do trading of this material. Normally we get this material cleared in chennai.
We wish to take this material to mumbai instead of our excise registered premises which is in Indore and do trading of it.
Can i take credit of this material which i take to mumbai and sell this material as cleared as such??

First of all CCR on goods can be claimed by person whose premise is registered under excise act.
And secondly u r asking about taking goods to mumbai and clearing it as such. here no question of taking CCR arises.bcoz u r just clearing raw materials as such..u r importing inputs and selling it as such.
Do any manufacturing activity is undergone in mumbai??
