Hi. could anyone lemme know if the case laws in the institute select case law book and the rtp ones are sufficient from the exam perspective?? and also do they expect us to quote the names of the cases in both IDT & DT or just the judgments will help us score marks?

Questions are framed in such a manner it would require one to cite the case law along with the provision. Along with the case laws appearing in the supplementary material and RTp, there is something called as Landmark judgements which will always be evergreen and you need to support your arguments based on these decisions. The quoting of case law name may not be required if you can give the substance of the decision pronounced, but however, quoting the case can create good impression in the mind of the examiner and entail him or her to award you good marks.

Thanks alot sathish. That really helped.
