Captial gain bonds invesment limit

My father and mother jointly owned a house property. There is no share defined in the sale deed of the property. Hence,for taxation view point, both can be considered for 50% The capital gain was Rs. 1 crore. Can they both individually invest Rs. 50.00 lacs each in the Capital Gain Tax Saver Bonds?
