Hello everyone. I had Purchased a property on 25.03.1991 for ₹.6,615.00 and sold the same on 06.02.2019 ₹.5,95,350.00. Now I want to know how much will be Long Term Capital Gains on this?

you can take fair market value of 2001 if it is greater then purchase value.

I am assuming that purchase value and fair market is same for the calculation:-

cost after indexation :- 6615*280/100= 18522

capital gain ( sale - indexed cost) (595350-18522)=576828.
simplest way to know fair market value as on 01-04-2001 is via Circle Rate on 01-04-2001 you can ask the same to your document writer who wrote your sale deed on 06-02-19
