In my opinion  Its  only 50 lac in both the cases   , however  you may take  others  opinion  also.

is there any case law
these are two separate sections, so exemption will be considered for each section separately and not to be aggregated
Exemption available for both
By reading the section itself u can tell that it is clear that available under both
But under 54EC now allowed only for Land n Building or both and 54EE all

@ Harshil Baheti,

please elaborate the investment options available u/s. 55EE.

Thanks in advance.

@ montee Have to purchase units of startup mutual fu d notified by C.G. Within 6 mnths from date of transfer Units cannot be sold or redeem within 3 yrs frm acquisition date

Can you name any of such units eligible for deduction u/s. 80EE, as my friend wish to invest. He already exhausted 80EC. Thanks once again.

Sorry, its typo error... read 80EE as 55EE  & 80EC as 55EC ...

That's the most ironical part๐Ÿ˜‚ Our govt hasn't notified any such fund so 54EE is '' A cake that one can't eat''

Yes, that what I am searching for. Thanks for clarification.

So, the original query also gets resolved temporarily by availing deduction u/s. 54EC only!!!

Yes exactly
what is specified assets under that assets 54EE Central govt notify 1-4-2019 before what are those please tell me

Not notified yet. Means any exemption u/s. 54EE is not available till now.
