yes, iagree with ravi it comes under staff welfare

        and according to revised schedule vi staff welfare exp is shown separetaly under the head employee benefit expense so, it shown under the head salaries and wages

it can be accounted to staff welfare

you can take canteen expenses as Staff welfare....

but if you require more appropriate split of every expenses, show it under the head 'canteen expenses' itself...

in case of companies, under schedule VI... canteen expenses is shown as a head which comes under the head of Staff welfare..
