Cancellation of Registration
in case of death of proprietor can I file application for cancellation from login Id of deceased person without updating authorized representative as I am legal heir of deceased person?

In case of death of proprietor, legal heir has to visit office of the Proper Officer (Jurisdiction Office) and submit death certificate along with the succession certificate. Proper Officer will subsequently add legal heir as the authorized signatory on the GST portal.
we applied for authorized signatory but meanwhile out CA has filed application for Cancellation without updation of Authorized signatory so is it valid or breach of Law?
what was the ground on which CA filed the cancellation form?
In this case, it is breach of law as only authorized person is eligible to fill cancellation form on behalf of deceased person
