Can i use word "global" in my company name

Hi Friends,

I am planniing to register my company and first word starts with "Global ".  Can anyone let me know whether I can use the word Global in my company name under class 41. And I was told I will not be able to use the word "Global" becasue it is a trademark registered. And I really dont agree with that. Becasue It is just impossible to protect generic words like "Global" unless they can claim that they created these words with the English alphabets before such words existed, like for example, Google, Coca-Cola, FedEx, Sony, etc (all of which did not exist before).

Can anyone give clarity to me on this!

Thanks

Sham

Dear Sir/Madam,

You can prefix your company name with the word “global”, provided that the authorized share capital of this company is minimum Rs. 5 crores. As per Companies (Name Availability) Rules, 2011 (attached herewith), if a company desires to use following key words :

“international, Globe, Global, World, Overseas, Universe, Universal, Continent, Continental, InterContinental, Asiatic, Asia, Asian”, being the first word of the name, the authorized capital of the company should be minimum Rs. 5 crores.

Veeral Gandhi

Can I use the word "Global" as suffix in the name of the company? eg. Infotech Global Pvt Ltd ?
