Can I apply for COP as an NRI?
Hi Friends, I am working outside India, and would like to open an office in my home town in India. As an NRI, is it possible for me to apply for COP? I will be employing some persons and doing the work. Plans to settle down in my hometown after few years. please help!

Vinod jee now a days provisions are changed now you either go for practice or go for industry as you are already in the industry acc to law you are not eligible for Holding COP. For this i suggest you that read Professional misconduct or you give me your id i will be send you related document
But see is the provisions of act applicable outside India? If i take COP and goes overseas and work or start a firm there.. is there any difference?
