ITC had come to campus in Bangalore,Chennai and was having 10 slots each from both cities. As per the info given to me by my friends who attended campus placements there; i was told that ITC picked up 2 candidates from Chennai and only 1 from Bangalore centre.
What could be reason behind this?
Are the quality of CA freshers not upto the mark or as per expectation of a such a big company; that they straightaway rejected during the interview?
Please give me ur views...
is no company much intrested much , even surat have 6 rank holder and 450+ student pass out but still ony 6 people selcted
as per latest trend many comapny perfer MBA(fiance ) than CA as they want some one who can present thing proper and not much technical as they have system of there own
ITC are recruiting people outside campus and their selection process consist of four stages:
Stage 1
Application screening: Shortlisting on the basis of application form
Stage 2
Preliminary Interview: Technical Evaluation of candidates is done here.
Stage 3
Final Interview: It consist of 2 group discussions and three personal interview. candidates are tested on technical and personal aspects here.
Stage 4
CFO Interview: Technical evaluation is done here also.
I had been through to only the final Interview stage and was rejected.

I guess that the link which u have mentioned is of another job profile than what was being offered in the ICAI Campus Placement. I guess it was for "internal audit member"; with pay hovering around 12lac pa.
And the application date had expired many days back.
