hiiiii as we knw that passing criteria is 40% individual & 50& in aggregate, so tell me result if one student couldnt score 50 per agg in one group, e.g

a/c- 40, audit- 40,  law-40

cost+fm - 60, tax 60, IT SM - 60

so MY QUES ARISES IS THAT TOTAL 50%  MARKS SHOULD BE OF TOTAL OD BOTH GROUPS OR INDIVIDULLY HA HAS TO SCORE 50 % MARKS IN BOTH GROUPS .

i had a query... regarding exemption... it it neccessary to appear in all the subjects or to giv exams f al the subjects for claiming exemption in one subject...

for eg  - if we hav not given paper of account , still can we get exemption in audit or not... guyss plzz hlp,.. ! 1 !

Agree with Kiran

As per my knowledge,

Exemption is available based on marks in particular subject, whether you appeared for all subjects or not  its does not matter

you will get exemption if you get 60 or above.

No,,, we should attend all the subjects of the group to claim the exemption

1) if we have attedend let's say all the three papers of Group-I of PCC we got exemption in accounts, this exemption will carry upto the 3 consecutive attempts

2) In 2nd attempt we got 60+ marks in Auditing then also we can't claim exemption of Auditing only Accounts exemption should be claimed

to claim the exemptions all the papers to be attended

ur understanding is wrong mr. reddy.. wat is exemption ??

if we get 60 marks in any subject we can claim it as an exemption.. not necessarily how many u were present or watsoever...

no restriction in the number of exemption.. as many 60's u get that many exemption in ur hand..

no sir, we should present all the paper of the group....let's say if final guy got exemption in two papers in first attempt he can claim those exemption in consecutive 3 attempts,, in second attempt he got exemption in one out of the remaining two one got failed here in this case he can claim previously got exemptions only current exemption is not valid.

if u think no restriction every one can get through CA course easily by clearing one one paper (exemption) in each attempt...

passshai tu,.,.

both grup diye hain  to both ko combinedly 300 marks dekha jayega..

No, Mr Sankar kiran, for getting exemption u have to attend all the papers of the group and then u can claim exemption if u get above 60

And u can claim only 1 exemption of a group, for eg if u get 60 in a/c and 60 in audit, u can claim exemption in any one of the subject.

Your Aggregate total shuould be 50%,subject to that clause that u r passing in all the 6 subjects i.e 40% means in such above case u stand clear....

Yes Subhash u r right,

Yes friends to get an exemption a candidate should have appeared for all the subjects.

For more details i have attached FAQ --of PCC (See Page no 16 & Para 66)

Yes. A candidate who fails in one or more papers comprised in a group but secures a minimum of 60 per

cent of the marks in any paper or papers of that group shall be eligible to appear at any one or more of the

immediately next three following examinations in the paper or papers in which he secured less than 60 per

cent marks. He shall be declared to have passed in that group if he secures at one sitting a minimum of 40

per cent marks in each of such papers and a minimum of 50 per cent of the total marks of all the papers of

that group including the paper or papers in which he had secured a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the

earlier examination referred to above. He shall not be eligible for any further exemption in the remaining

paper(s) of that group until he has exhausted the exemption already granted to him in that group
