CA Articleship timings with Regular College - Mumbai

My younger brother is keen on doing regular B.Com with CA articleship in Mumbai. Attendence is NOT compulsory in his college & obiviously he will not attend college.

But his college offcial timings are from 7.30 to 11.30, so what if the CA firm timings are from 9.30 onwards... ?

Please can you tell if this is possible ? or If any declaration/form is required by ICAI or by his CA firm..?

or He can just tell ICAI that he is NOT doing B.Com (keep silient & not mention anything...)

I did B.Com by correspondence/distance learning & hence can't advice him.

But I heard that many students do regular B.Com with Articleship, hence wondering what is the process with ICAI.. ?

your brother can do regular bcom. but before articleship you have to get a form signed by the principal of the college that his classes would not clash with the office timings. if the principal is okay, he/she can change the timis of his class and show it as maybe from 7:00 to 9:15. keeping silent is no option. ICAI could take any serious action in case of such practice.
