I have an issue regarding my eligibility to undergo Industrial Training. I started articleship on 03/09/12 (franking date) and terminated it at my old firm on 02/09/14 to undergo IT. It's been more than two months since I've started IT i.e 05/09/14. The ICAI, however, says that their records have my articleship period starting from 17/09/14 and hence I've not completed the requisite two year period before IT. Hence my IT registration with ICAI has been deemed invalid. Is it possible for me to ask the Institute to rectify my records? Please help.
