I have registered for my articles in March 2012 but have'nt received my identity card yet. My principal has already received a letter acknowledging my joining of articles. But i didnt receive it. Can anyone suggest me the solution for this?

Wait for few days more and in the mean while call up ICAI - Articles @ 044-30210315 and also use e-sahyatta adn move on.
MAKE A CALL TO THE CHAPTER ....and ask them to send your ID cards as most of students of our firm even did not got the ID cards even after 6 months of registration .. one of our partners called to the chapter ... then they have replied that there are some technical problems becasuse of which they could not send Student ID cards....now they got those cards after 6 months of registration....
so make a call and get the work done...........

do we need to submitt old id card while getting transfer to a new firm for articleship??? need help...plz clearify...
