CA ARTICLESHIP EXAM LEAVE

Hi guys,

I have taken examination leave for 35 days (Inclusive of Exam days). During that period is it necessary to attend the calls from office . I am not sure on this . Even though i attended the call for first 10 days and didn't responded them for next 25 days. After completion of Exam my principal scolded me a lot. Please confirm that it is necessary to response them or not ?
