Artilceship is the base of CA so u need to do it even if u are not willin to practice...

An advice for you: Do Cost Accountancy.

You will be required to register as an article under a practising CA. As one person above suggests, you could consider doing Cost Accountancy. Studying for CA with a full-time job is a challenge.
