u made a mistake.... you should complete your orientation and itt before starting the articleship..... it is the main rule of ICAI.... better that u ask at nearest institute's branch....

once check your principal's status on ICAI's web site, check whether your name has been added in the Articles' list or not...

u will know the fact whether ur application for articleship entered in the I.C.A.I records.

YA YA I GOT JUST NOW  BUT MY NAME IS NOT THERE AFTER  01.03.2012  NO STUDENT NAMES IS THERE RECENTLY 2 TO 3 MEMBERS JOINED SIR VERY TENSE  EVEN I MADE A CALL TO CHENNAI BUT THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING

make a written application on a plain paper with all ur queries under Right To Information Act with a fess rs 10/- in cash,then u will get reply back from I.C.A.I within 30 day's from the date of receipt of ur application.
