Hi

Its a business. The person supplying the labour can be any person and need not be a professional. Its not a profession as specified u/s 44AA(1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Profession will be considered for only CAs, CSs, doctors etc

agree with CA sidharth sahni

100% Business

Definitely it is bussiness

as per my concern Profession need a specific knowledge and training and supply of labour need not to have any specific knowledge hence it can be saod that supply of labour will be covered unedr bussiness perspective and not with profession

Profession will be considered for only CAs, CMAs, CSs, Advocates e.t.c, so it is a business

Agree with CA Sidharth

Hi,

Supply of Labour is attracted U/s 194 C...so definitely it comes under the head "Income from Business" but not profession..

regards,

Bhanu Prakash..

Suppy of Labour do not require any proffessional qualification

Therefore it should be Business

Kindly explain the implications of it being business or profession.
