Hi, I m ca final student, I have completed one year of my articleship. I just want to know that if i want to take break for 6 months then what should i do...& if i can take then whether my one attempt would go waste or not...
can i stop my articleship for 6 months..i will start it again after 6 months..i just want to take break..
Please tell me the procedure if it is possible...

Currently no transfer is allowed. So only if yours current principal gives you leave then u can take a break. Those days of ur break will be treated as leave during ur articleship period. currently total leave allowed during articleship is 156 days (3years) and 186 days (3.5years). Your articleship will be extended for the excess leave u take during articleship.
