I am an employee of a company where I have
found that the octroi receipts paid by our
transporter on my behalf during import from
other states are forged. They do not appear as
verified receipts. My company wants to set
things right and is even ready to pay the
entire tax again. Please confirm what the
company's approach should be .
You immediately report to sales tax dept. So that vizillance squad look after those things. If you suppress those facts then u will be in trouble in future. Better to inform to the sales tax authorities immediately.
