"RESOLVED THAT the Company A having Current A/c with your bank (A/C No. _____________) has merged with Company B and new name of company is Company C (if name has changed). This is for your kind information to updates your records available with you and now company will deal with new name and this add (add old / new).

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. A, Managing Director and Mr. B,  Director of the Company is being here by authorised jointly to sign each and every document need necessary for this act.

Upto my understanding you will have to make an arrangeent with your banker, so that they honour the cheques for few time in all the names i.e. amalgamating and amalgamatd company.
