Board meeting under shorter notice u/s. 171(2)

Please tell me the detail procedure to hold a Board Meeting under a Shorter Notice U/s. 171(2).

Is it necessary to issue a notice after obtaining Consent by Shareholder for shorter notice. Please tell me someone the detail procedure.

You are mentioning the procedure to call BOARD meeting at shorter notice, but i guess you are asking about General Meeting.

As per my views there is no such detailed procedure, it would be like any other meeting notice. Just one thing you need to take care that you have consent of required shareholder before dispatching the notice for meeting.

And yes it is necessary to issue notice for convening of General Meeting.
