Best firm for articleship

Hi sakshi,

sc vasudeva, sp chopra, sr dinodia, ss kothari and tr chadha ...all these are good firms.

All these firms have good PSU's clints in their bucket, they have diffrent team for different job profile such as Internal Auditing Team, Statutory Audit Team, Taxation (Indirect Taxation & Direct Taxation) etc

Some of these firm have good Taxation Team but not Auditing and vice versa. You can select among these on basis of kind of profile they are offering or they are agreeing that you will get your desired /interested area of training.

For better Taxation exposure you can go with SS Kothari., SNB (Sahni Natrajan & Behl).

For Auditing exposure you can join TR Chadha or SS Kothari.

Anyhow, what happened with KPMG? Did they call for HR round?

and KPMG will be taking 2 candidates from 15 probably(as always)....

Things to take care in interview is that

1.if u have used some big english words they may ask u the meanings,, so take care..

2.update yourself with current affairs,, like they asked ma frnd

  Q.1 who is the owner of PUNE WARRIORS ( SAHARAs OOWNER- subroto roy)

  Q.2 what was case VODAFONE won? (about the tax)

3. u shpuld know atleast the names of all AS,, specially AS1,2,5,6,10,, and jst read others too,,

4. Tax rates and Slabs must be on you tips..

else your confidence and skills will do the rest....

I had the test last week.. It has 4 sections as the HR might have told you. You will get 90 mins to do 120 questions.

Next is the HR round.

i passed 1sty group nov 2011 and wrote may 2012 2nd group
