Be fearful from Barclays credit card

Some months ago I taken Barclays creditcard.They offered it as life time free. One month ago some one called me & said Barclays have to send me free gifts so please confirm address.I said address is with Barclays why you are asking.The person said some time address changes so pl give your address.

After some days I received the statement in Rs.5000+ service tax on taht has been debited for "BARCLAYS PRIORITY CIRL". I immediately lodged the complaint and also referred the matter to their head service but nothing happend.

What is horrifying is that due date of the payment was 25.9.08 and from 26.9.08 they started calling 10-15 times a day for payment. Some time they call & cut the line. I am keeping my mobile in silent mode from last few days to avoid giving detail of the matter every time.

Can any one provide me help in the matter.

Hey , thanx buddy..........I am having problem with Barclays credit Card..........

In my case , i have paid the ful amount before due date ...after 2 days they called me back and confirmed that the said cheque has been misplaced , kindly re-issue the cheque. i have re-issued ....suddenly they sent me the statement stating late fee plus charges approx 1000 bucks...Agaian i called the customer care they have said OK will revert the charges.....now again i receive the mobile alert.........last late payment charges plus other service charges and again late payment charges plus service charges................i have called the customer care and that lady said i am bound to pay ...even i can not surrender my card....PATHETIC SERVICES...
