Basic salary changes..
if an employee wants his own basic salary to be reduced because due to that deductions are high and inhand salary is too low... so can the basic be reduced if an employee by himself wants it.. (employer kept 70% as basic salary which was wrong)

You can ask for it.
you can ask your employer to reduce your basic salary and instead give you salary in the name of allowances which are exempt from tax under income tax.
So there is a room for such modification, rest depends on your employer.
