Audit vs tax

Basically there are 2 fields in Articleship period..One is Tax and other is Audit..which is further bifurcated into various fields.

Such as In Audit,Internal Audit,Statutory Audit etc.

And in Tax,Transfer Pricing etc.

Thank you sir is it necessary to choose any one area or both area ??

It depends.

If you opt for small firm,you will get to know about both fields and if opt for mediocore or big firm,you have to choose one out of two. Since in Big firms,there are seperate division for Tax and Audit.

Is it possible to work in a mid size firm then transfer to big4 thank you

Yess... Transfers are allowed.

Thank you sir for above information, sir big 4 firms accept those kind of transferred trainees ??? Means if i already worked 1 year mid size then take transfer.so my question is will they give chance to me?? I think that first i choose mid size firm to find my intrest between tax vs audit then i take as per my intrest so is it possible.
