Hey friends i have been given Internal audit on Guest house and colony which are actully maintained by the company.
Can anyone tell me what Important area can be checked based on controls
Colony used by the employee and guest house, company guest and including auditor or other govt official stays
Verify all the records maintanied by the guest house.
Records are,
1.Occupancy register.
2.Verification of the bills of guest houses including Water, electricity,wifi etc.
Further you can do the analysis of Food expenditure spent per person.Find out the variations.
How can we comment on Avg consunption wise of food... obviously there is no standard. even if there is variance there could be genuine reason ... Food intake more...
Agreed. There is no standard for consumption of food.
My point is, abnormal variations if any from month to month basis per person consumption.
There may be chances of improper utilisation of resources by guest house maintainance people , if no proper controls are exists.
And there may be allocated budget for that. You can verify the actuals with the Budgets.
