Is it necessary to do articleship from top 10 firms???? If I join articleship in a medium level firm will it have an adverse effect on my CV.......

it is not necesaary to do articles in top 10 firms only. the imp thing is how much exposure and practical knowledge u get which is absolutely vital and crucial and which will then be counted eventually.. so dont think too much abt ur CV and all, focus on ur articleship and get the best out of it....
I would also add a point to kaivan gandhi's view. You also need to have sufficient time to attend classes and study at home. Your first and foremost objective would be to clear CA Exams.
Fully agreed with Gandhi. However, working in Top10 firms adds more value to CV than others provided if you are having grip on the subject and practical knowledge on various aspects.
