28 February 2012good morning friends my query is related to my friend who is in articlship now
he joined articleship 3months back and now he wants to take termination as he is staying in other city and wants to go back to his home city as his parents health was worsening and they require his help . So can a student take termination under this cause in his first year of articleship???

Its not a termination if articleship. it is a transfer of articleship
yes you can tke a transfer freely in the first year of articleship. And you dont need to give any reason also to ICAI.
I have taken it my self .
So advice your freind that he can take a transfer.
