Hi,

You need not take permission of ICAI, if you are a first year article and desirous of taking transfer.

You just have to take the permission of your principal and send the form 109 to ICAI.

Regards,

DEAR SIR,

I HAV COMPLETED MY GROUP 1 OF IPCC AND HAVING THE FIRST YEAR OF MY ARTICLESHIP.A FEW DAYS AGO I HAD A DISPUTE WITH MY PRINCIPLE..AND FOR THIS I WANT TO TRANSFER MY ARTICLESHIP FIRM,BUT HE REFUSES TO SIGN ON THE FORM..I AM SURE THAT HE WILL CREATE A DISTURBANCE DURING MY FINAL AND AT MY TERMINATION...SO IS THERE ANYWAY THAT I CAN BE OUT OF IT...BEACAUSE ITS ABT MY CARRIER AND I DONT WANNA TAKE ANY RISK ABOUT IT....PLS LET ME KNOW AS SOON...

Jay....If you are in 1st year of articleship then nobody can stop you to take transfer.

You can talk to him calmly and still if he is not agreeing then you can talk to institute or write a mail to them.

Thanq sanjay sir,

But im sure that he will never accept my transfer..so can I get the procedure for complaining to the institute regarding articles..I.e...whom I shuld contact. As I belong to the southern region of icai.
